a chemical substance that is needed in small amounts to help with growth and metabolism

Why do we need protein?
needed for growth and repair

What are food groups?
certain foods with the same nutrients are classified as a food groups, so there are different food groups as different foods may contain different minerals

What is the recommended serving for fruits and vegetables?
5-6 servings of vegetables a day and 2 servings of fruit a day.

4-6 servings a day
