what is an accident?
undesirable circumstances that lead to ill health or injury
or to property, plant or equipment
what is the definition of ill health?
acute or chronic illness, that harm you and your body
what is a hazard?
something that may cause harm.
what is risk?
risk is the chance high or low that somebody could be harmed by hazards.
MUST indicate how serious the harm could be.

talk me through the risk assessment for the rooftop site?
well there were two main hazards.
1) falling off the rooftop
2) non ionizing radiation exposure
these were mitigated by the fact there was a wall around the roof, and two that I wore a RF monitor
how would you identify hazards?
look it up on google maps, ask what the access arrangements are. walk the route on streetview from car or station.
Site hazards, machinery, chemicals, fork lifts.
