Everyone who holds personal data has to follow the data principles.

-right to know how a company is using or storing your personal data.

an FOI gives an individual the right to ask a public sector organisation for information.
-organisation must respond within 20 days, and they can charge for this service.
-cannot disclose information if it will prejudice criminal investigation or it is personal

where is older paper data stored at your company?
this is stored in a locked filing system managed by the LLDC data officer.
where do you store important data?
our property managers at LLDC store in external Qube system. However I make sure diarise all important lease events.
How would you verify data?
through triangulation, which is collecting data from different sources on one phenomenon.
