Management of trigeminal neuralgia
. Medical: carbamazepine
. Surgical: microvascular decompression
Management of idiopathic intracranial hypertension
1) Weight loss
2) Acetazolamide, topiramate (carbonic anhydrase inhibitor), furosemide
3) Repeated LP (removing 15-25 mL of CSF)
4) CSF Shunting may be necessary if vision threatened
