The Deputy Will:

- Isolate the immediate area
- Deny access to unauthorized persons
- Notify shift supervisor

The Shift Supervisor Will:
A
- Respond to affected area and assess the situation
- Provide additional security support to secure area
- Notify the Shift Commander

The Shift Commander will:
A
- Immediately notify the Comm center for fire department/HAZMAT response providing: - type of problem (leak, spill, biohazardous exposure) - location - material name and/or type and amount if known - any other pertinent infomation
- Notify the affected Division Commander
- Notify the Clincial Supervisor
- Ensure the Comm center has notifed the agency disaster preparedness coordinator and special incident management sergeant

The Division Commander will notify:

- The Department Commander who will in turn notify the Sherrif

What other action’s is a Deputy required to take?
A
A Deputy is not expected to take any other action than to recognize a hazard exists. Until proven otherwise, all meterials and incidents will be treated as “worst possible” situations. Actions and activities shall be conservative; no unnecessary risks swill be taken
