The discovering member will notify the Inmate Records Manager giving:
A
- Full name, payroll, and post or location
- If immediately after release, give description of person including color and type of clothing
- Direction taken or current location of person released, if known
- If not immediately after release, give, time / date released, last known address and complete physical description of released inmate
- Circumstances surrounding the release

Inmate Records Manager will establish positive identification of released inmate and notify:
A
- Comm center, giving inmate’s name, description and time released
- Tactical Investigations Section commander or, if unavailable the Investigative Operations Bureau Commander
- Judge presiding over the released inmate’s case
- State Attorney’s Office
- APAD / ASU / Pre-Trial release if the charges or circumstances meet criteria of: - The charge is in need of electric monitor - the charge is not violent in nature and the inmate was released with instructions to report to pre-trial release
- Custody Management Division and the Comm Center if the inmate is found
- Victim of the crime and when the inmate is located
- Submit a written report to the Custody Management Division Commander

The Custody Management Division Commander will:
A
- Have the inmate’s record available for review and to use as background information
- Notify the Department and Bureau commanders
- If a federal prisoner, notify the U.S. Marshal’s Office and the FBI Office (Clearwater or Tampa)

The Department Commander will:
A
- Notify the Sheriff through the Chief Deputy or designee
- Notify the Public Relations Bureau
- Determine if any other call-out procedures should be initiated
