Blue- health hazard, Red- flammability hazard, Yellow- Instability/Reactivity hazard, White- Special handling/Hazard information.
In addition to SDS cards, what does the CG use as a quick reference for the warning of hazardous materials?
HMIG- Hazardous Materials Identification Guide
What are the 4 categories that indicate caution on the HMIG?
Health, Flammability, Reactivity, and Protective Equipment
On HMIG, severity of hazard is rated how?
Scale of 0-4. 0 being minimal hazard and 4 being extreme hazard.
What is the chemical wipe (rags) system?
Red- Solvents (alcohol, MEK) Blue- Petroleum, Oil, Lubrication, White-Alodine
If a wipe is contaminated with both POL and Solvents, what container should it be disposed in?
