Freidman and Rosenman- cardiologists.
Noticed that corninary heart diseases all had similar behaviour patterns - which is called type A and B and related to higher instances of heart disease

weakness of Type A/B
too simple - type C and D
2nd weakness of Type a/b
can be argued as inaccurate due to self report measures which are very open to social desirability bias

in hardiness or locus of control theory suggests control is most important predictor in health related outcomes

takes into account of genetics and the type of personality a person has based off genetics and outside factors such as social and cognitive
