2. Making/work: making something durable, related to the non-natural part of existence
3. Action: speech, politics. Related to the interaction between people

The public realm has been destroyed by the private realmm and both have been overtaken by the social realm (the modern state)

• Turns working classes and other groups into ‘masses’. A party syste is replaced by a mass government, hets rid of party programs and is suporrted by the elite
• Sees policts/ ideology as a game of cheating,
• No moderation of power, not utilitarian, negelects national intrest, Relies on the power of organisation
• Is opposed to individualism, intiative, conviction, spontaneity and even rules
