Front is RIOC 1
Rear is RIOC 2
Where are trim input signals and Airbrake signal sent to from the HOTAS?
Directly to trim and Airbrake actuator as well as to the MC to various MFD displays.
Where does Airbrake indication appear when the Airbrake is out?
- MFD HYD
- EMD
- PFD
What does AP disconnect switch do?
- Disengages the autopilot and cancels all operating flight director modes.
- Auto trim function is inhibited
- Pitch and roll servos are disconnected.
What does the Tactile Control Steering (TCS) switch do?
- Disconnects the pitch and roll servos for such time that the TVS is operated
- Allows the pilot to fly the aircraft manually without disengaging the autopilot.
What is the Press to Transmit switch on the PCL used for?
- Pressing it left transmits on COMM1
- Pressing it right transmits on COMM2
- Pressing it down all receptions of communication and radio navigation audio signals are muted EXCEPT caution and warning tones.
What are the three Declutter Levels that can be toggled through the declutter switch?
DCL 1, DCL 2, DCL OFF
What is the castle switch used for?
To swap displays between left and right MFDs.
What does the slew switch do?
Used to slew in Maps and radar cursors in NAV modes
What occurs if RIOC 1 fails?
Non flying related functions for the front HOTAS will be affected.
What occurs if RIOC 2 fails?
Rear cockpit HOTAS non flying related functions are lost.
