X-linked.
Normal bleed time and platelet count, prolonged APTT
Rx: avoid NSAIDs, IM injections, desmopressin and recombinant factor 8.

A

Most common inherited cause of haemophilia
Mostly AD deficiency in VWF
Presents with abnormal bleeding, FHx is relevant
Rx: not required day-to-day, but in major bleeding or trauma or in preparation for operations - desmopressin, VWF, F8
