What is Gullian Barre syndrome?
A
a post-infective polyneuropathy which has been recently linked to campylobacter jejune and HIV infection
other implicated organisms- EBV, CMV, mycoplasma pneumonia

symptoms of Gullian barre syndrome
A
presents 1-3 weeks after onset of infection.
dital motor and sensory symptoms and signs
*if involves the respiratory and facial muscles this can cause acute respiratory failure and need for assisted ventilation (plasma exchange and human immunoglobulin)
