How did PAI feel about the two-state solution?
§ Palestinian representatives from the West Bank wanted to reach a dead with Israel for the establishment of a Palestinian political entity alongside Israel, On the Palestinian side, political elites were at times inept or ambiguous in the proposal for peace with Israel (lacked political unity)

How was the settler project created?
Religious nationalists saw the Israeli victory of 1967 as a miracle and embraced the messianic version of religious Zionism (Greater Israel = Promised Land from God who commanded Jews to inhabit Judea and Samaria)
Who lives in the Settlements?
The religious national settlers represent only 1/4 of all settlers, most Jewish settlers do not fit the stereotype and choose to live in illegal settlements for economic reasons (shorter commute, cost of living, affordable housing, quality of life etc)

Both of the country’s major political parties, Labour and Likud, have supported settlement building in the West Bank,
