Can also be seen in large breeds

What are the clinical signs of granulomatous meningomyelitis?
A
focal or diffuse
Various presentations are possible depending on severety of spinal cord involvement

What can CSF show?
A
Abnormal
Mononuclear pleocytosis
Increased protein levels
Can be normal

Treatment options of granulomatous meningomyelitis?
A
Prednisolone +/- Cytarabine or cyclosporine

Prognosis of granulomatous meningomyelitis?
A
Guarded, varies with response to treatment
Without treatment prognosis is poor
