What is naturalized epistemology?
A school of epistemology that uses cognitive science to inform its theories.
What is a conceptual analysis of knowledge and justification?
The practice of analyzing the meanings and concepts of knowledge and justification to provide definitions of them that apply in all cases.
What are epistemic folkways?
The norms that we use when evaluating others, and our intuitions about knowledge and justification.
What are the two tasks of epistemology according to Goldman?
To explain our epistemic folkways and to determine our epistemic norms.
What is the value problem?
We often assume that truth is the only epistemic value. But if a unreliable process produces a true belief the true belief isn’t worse than it would be if the process was reliable.
