A

1/3 males have jaundice

Can have acute haemolysis anaemia (peridodic triggers)

Treatment

A

Prevent haemolysis

Treat Jaundice /anaemia (phototherapy in infants through photo-oxidation removing bilirubin from system)

Remove triggers which increases Oxidative stress

(fava beans + dapsone medication)
