Glucocorticoids Flashcards
1
Q
Mechanism of action :
A
- inhibit the antigen presenting function of macrophages
- inhibit the proliferation of B-lymphocytes, reduce plasma tissue
- have a weak inhibitory effect on antibody production and the formation of the CIC
- stabilize the membranes of mast cells and basophils (partly due to inhibition phospholipases A2), and also reduce their degranulation
- have anti-shock effect
- have anti-inflammatory effect
2

Indications :
A
- bronchial asthma
- skin diseases with an allergic component (severe allergic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, neurodermatitis)
- allergic rhinoconjunctivitis
- anaphylactic shock, serum sickness
