Hip-huggers
- are the pants tightly fitted around the hips and thighs that usually have flared or bell-bottom lower legs. They came a long way from 1957.

Pencil skirt
- slim-fitting skirt with a narrow cut. It usually is a midi or knee-long skirt. Got its name after its shape: it is long and slim like a pencil.

A-line skirt
- is a skirt that is fitted at the upper hips and widens towards the hem, creating an impression of a capital letter A. Has no pleats or other visible embellishments. It is fitted due to seams or darts.

Pleated pants
- high-risen pants with folds along the waist, toward the front. Look best on larger body types, such as square/rectangle and triangle type 1.

Gored skirt
- a skirt made of several triangle pieces of fabric, known as “gores”. They create an A-line silhouette. The gores start at the waistline, fitting tight to the waist, and widen towards the hemline.

- a skirt with a fitted band at its top used instead of a waistband. It fits snug from the waist down over the hip.

- a garment consisting of a long piece of fabric worn wrapped around the body, and tucked at the waist or under the armpits. It usually has bright colors and prints. Sarong originally comes from Southeast Asia, Africa, and Pacific Island. In western countries nowadays it is used as a beachwear.

- is a traditional clothing of female Alps peasants;
- a dirndl skirt is a full skirt gathered at the waist, that falls below the knee.

- a bohemian-inspired garment that has provincial motives such as embroidery in floral patterns or ethnic German clothing details such as puffed sleeves and low necklines.

Flat front pant
- the pants that are worn on the hips. and do not have any pleats in them. They lie close to the body and appear in multiple variations. They are recommended for those who wish to look slimmer and flatter in the stomach and thigh area.
