Peter pan collar

  • a collar that is flat and has rounded corners. Got its name from the Peter Pan costume made for the American actress Maude Adams in 1905 for the eponymous play.

  • a decorative garment accessory falling from the throat, suspended from or attached to a collar. First appeared in the 17th century as an essential part of the upper-class men’s fashion. Became a component of women’s fashion in the 19th century. It is usually made with lace, cambric or other light fabric.

  • the tight pants that are similar to leggings in a way they taper at the ankle but they also extend to a band or a strap that is worn under the arch of the foot to hold the pant leg in place. They were originally sportswear for women, however, they have become a part of street fashion since the 1980s and keep coming in and out of it.
