Population <> Provider <> Intervention This trio stays the same for the most part. Whether on individual or group level of care.
How can countries be prepared for ruin?
Have a set list of interventions ready to use if needed For instance, eboli cases are big in Africa. And so, they have a specific plan ready to implement if they need it.
Why does the US care about global health?
It protects us but also for humanity reasons. We don’t want to give a path for chaos either so we keep everyone happy and healthy. Also, the sooner we make another country stable, the less resources we have to use later on.
What are infant mortality rates like in underdeveloped countries?
High Survival through the first years of life is rare sometimes too. - some people don’t even name their kid
How do children get diarrheal disease in other underdeveloped countries? How dangerous is this in underdeveloped countries?
Lack of clean water & no sanitation. The dehydration in small children can be a killer as well as the malnutrition Diarrheal disease contributes to child mortality rates in underdeveloped countries, so pretty dangerous.
Why is AIDs/HIV a big concern for adults in underdeveloped countries?
Lack the resources to educate people and reduce the spread. It contributes to adult mortality rates.
