Rehydrate
- 2L fluid/day + 200ml per loose stool
- Dioralyte to replace salts (oral rehydration solution)
- stop the anti-renal meds (NSAIDS, ACEi, diuretic)

Ciproflaxicin for campolybactor, shigella and giardia
Metronidazole for giardia
Dietary advice on IBS
- avoid insoluble fibre (bran), increase soluble (oats)
- low FODMAP diet
- avoid caffeine
- drink 8 cups of fluid a day
