people live in areas with less public transport- less likely to attend gp appointments- health gets worth
poor air quality- more prone to respiratory conditions
postcode lottery- some people live in places with limited services
traffic in busy places- noise- no sleep
danger- city life- risk of assault
emergency- if you live in an isolated place- you may have to wait a long time for help eg ambulence
Emotional Impact of geographical location
Stress- city life is very busy or country life can cause stress due to no transport
feel lonely- living away from family
angry- lack of sleep due to noise may impact mood
happy- living in city means you are close to family/friends , living in the country means you live in peace
Social Impact of geographical location
isolated places- less opportunities to have social interactions- eg no youth clubs
no sense of community
no social venues- more likely to spend time alone
people in cities may isolate due to the fear of crime
