Physical impact of osteoporosis
osteoporosis causes bones to become weak + brittle, a fall or even a simple task such as coughing could cause fracture
Intellectual impact of osteoporosis
osteoporosis can cause individuals to have a loss of concentration, they may be unable to focus on work or school due to high levels of anxiety
Emotional impact of osteoporosis
it can cause the individual to become stressed + embarrassed as they may feel different from others + this therefore may lead to discrimination
Social impact of osteoporosis
the individual may become closer with their family, they might find a carer in the family+ this may develop their relationship further as they are spending more time together.
Physical impact of arthritis
sleeping problems as a result of pain- lead to fatigue
Intellectual impact of arthritis
lack of stimulation- unable to do work/do usual activities
Emotional impact of arthritis
anxious+ worried about condition- if it will deteriorate
Social impact of arthritis
may not go out to socialise with others + have a limited social circle due to lack of confidence
