How to write the genes someone has - Eg. AO
Phenotypes
Phenotype characteristics and what they are. I.E AO - Blood type A.
Heterozygous
When someone has two different alleles of a gene. I.E Bb
Homozygous
When someone has the same two alleles of a gene. I.E bb
Dominant gene
When a gene overrules a recessive allele. I.E BB or Bb
Recessive gene
When a gene is overruled by a dominant gene. I.E ee

What is a pedigree?
A pedigree chart is a diagram that shows the occurrence and appearance of phenotypes of a particular gene or organism and its ancestors from one generation to the next.
