Passive, Transfer and Spatter
Passive stains
Drops, flows and pods, typically resulting from gravity acting on the injured body.
Transfer Stains
When and object/person with blood comes into contact with another object or surface that does not contain blood.
Spatter
High, medium, or low velocity - results from a blood drop dispersed through or due to an external force applied to a source of liquid blood. Circle = Head On, Trail - Angle
Plasma
Makes up main component of blood - consisting of waters, proteins, ions, nutrients and wastes mixed in.
