Q

List the steps of genetic engineering:

A
  1. Use enzymes to cute out the desired gene out of the chromosome
  2. Remove the plasmid from a bacterial cell
  3. Cut the plasmid open using enzymes
  4. Put the gene which codes for the useful product into the plasmid
  5. Place altered plasmid back into the bacterium
  6. Allow bacteria to grow and multiply
  7. The altered bacteria will now make the useful product which can be collected
