main causes of small bowel obstruction

A

scar tissue/adhesion, hernias, cancer. Also can be due to intraluminal foregin body (intussusception, bezoar, gallstone)
Large bowel obstruction can be caused due to volvulus, adhesions, carcinoma, diverticular disease (toxic mega colon)

inguinal ligament.
