  1. OFF - prevents EMER lights from illuminating
    EMER LIGHT NOT ARMED message. The FAs switch can override cockpit switch
  2. ARM - normal flight position.
    Emer evac lights are off
    Connects battery packs charging
    Circuits EMER DC BUS
    Illuminate automatically with loss of
    Power to EMER DC bus
  3. ON - simulates electrical power failure
    All EMER lights illuminate
    EMER LIGHT NOT ARMED message

A

Uses incandescent bulbs powered by rechargeable battery packs which provide power for a minimum of 15 minutes

A

When EMER power switch is ON with normal electrical power OFF and BATT switch ON, standby lighting will continue to be provided by the Captains and First Officers inst. panel flood lights
-Power comes from the emergency D.C. Bus
And the D.C. Transfer bus
-All flood lights can be adjusted via their knob
-Immediate bright floodlighting can be obtained through the THDRSTRM LT switch ON

  1. With the parking break set, door open annunciation will not appear on the display screen. The DOOR cue light will flash 4 times when first door is opened and remain on without flashing as other doors are opened.

Caution is?

A

1 Eject - (momentary) Energizes circuit to release door latches and open all oxygen compartment doors at any altitude
2. NORM- Door latches on all oxygen compartments will open automatically any time cabin altitude reaches approximately 14000 feet
3 Caution- holding switch in EJECT position in excess of 5 seconds may cause damage to the Oxy compartment latches
