What’s the purpose of emergency lighting and how long will the battery packs provide power
Provides minimal illumination of the flight deck, cabin and exit areas to facilitate evacuation of the aircraft
Uses incandescent bulbs powered by rechargeable battery packs which provide power for a minimum of 15 minutes

-Immediate bright floodlighting can be obtained through the THDRSTRM LT switch ON

Wing tip strobes operate only when POS/STROBE switch is in BOTH and the nose wheel is off the ground
What is the function of the AUTO position on the NO SMOKE and SEAT BELTS switches
- NO SMOK switch

- With the parking break set, door open annunciation will not appear on the display screen. The DOOR cue light will flash 4 times when first door is opened and remain on without flashing as other doors are opened.
- The Master Caution light will not illuminate for a DOOR cue
- The DOOR cue light cannot be dimmed
What is the function of the MD90 Status Cue Light on the Enhanced Overhead Panel(EOAP)
- Status Cue Light (blue) below EOAP screens. Replaces MONITOR light.
- Advises second level message is stored in the status buffer requiring no procedural action by the flight crew
What’s the operation of the Master Caution lights
- Master Caution light(2) Amber
- Both lights will illuminate when caution messages are displayed on the OAP
- Pushing either light will extinguish both MASTER CAUTION lights and reset the system for subsequent indications
