A
- OXYGEN (target 94-98% unless COPD or severe sepsis)
- FLUID RESUSCITATION (prescribe opposite)
- BLOOD CULTURE (and other cultures eg urine, SBP, joint, swabs)
- STAT I.V. ANTIBIOTICS (based on initial assessment: minimise delay)
- LACTATE (+ fbc and urgent biochemistry)
- MONITOR URINE OUTPUT (catheterise if <60ml at 2 hours or for severe sepsis)
