Human characteristics (commercial or residential areas): Jurong town broken down into 2 regions- commercial (industrial buildings, western & southern parts of Jurong) & residential (homes, eastern & northern parts of Jurong)

Geographical location (east or west): residential areas broken down into 2 regions- Western Bukit Batok (larger no. of public housing apartment blocks), Eastern Bukit Batok (larger no. of private landed housing & condominiums)
