What is a CoC document
Certificate of Compliance
When a new installation has been completed.
What is a GSC document
Gas Safety Certificate
After work has been completed and connected.
What is a CoV document
Certificate of Verification
When an existing gas installation has been checked for safety.
State a licence class that is required for a gasfitter to be able to complete a COC.
Certifying Gasfitter
List SIX items of information that a COC must contain.
- Type of gas the installation is safe to connect to
- The date(s) on which the work was done.
- Signature of the person issuing the certificate and dates of installation and issue
- Description of the work done
- Signature of the person issuing the certificate
- The name and registration number of the person issuing the certificate
