- Joint (arthrosynovial)
- Tendon (tenosynovial). THIS IS MC, has good prognosis.

Starts in teens -> late 40’s

What causes me, man?
A
Collagenous degeneration or congenital weakness or trauma
Know how to differentiate?

What are some signs that i have a ganglion cyst man?
A
Good question, because most are asymptomatic.
Symptoms increase with size though.
“Waxes and wanes”

Carpal boss if constant and firm

Tx - tenosynovial
A
Protect, rest, splint NSAIDs, Watch and wait Aspiration Surgical excision Recurrence likely

Tx - arthrosynovial
A
Protect, rest, splint NSAIDs, Watch and wait Aspiration Surgical excision is more likely than tenosynovial Recurrence likely
