Definition of FUO
Fever >38.3 on at least 2 occassions
Illness duration >/= 3 weeks
No known immunocompromised state
Diagnosis remain uncertain after thorough investigation and battery of tests

Malignant Lymphoma
Dissociation between pulse rate and temp, inconsistent body temp measured at different sites
Fraudulent fever
MC infectious cause of FUO
Tuberculosis
Common causes of drug-induced fever

MC miscellaneous cause of FUO
Drug-induced fever

Done if miliary TB is suspected
