A

the president and parliament are in charge of creating laws. an example is the compulsory education at in 2000 where parents or guardians may be convicted if they do not send their child to a national primary unless they are exempted. this is important because important national issues are constantly being examined and discussed and many new laws are becoming valid and fair. in the long run, it helps us to decide how to allocate our resources to meet the needs of society. therefore, legislature leads to the good of society.

how does executive lead to the good of society?

A

the prime minister, deputy prime minister and the ministers leading the various ministries implement laws and policies. an example is the ministry of education which ensures that the education system can effectively meet the needs of school-going children by monitoring the attendance of school where teacher may make house visits to ensure children go to school. this is important because constant feedback will be provided to policy makers so that policies can be fine-tuned to meet the changing needs. in the long run, the laws and policies of the government can be implemented effectively. therefore, executive leads to the good of the society.

how does judiciary lead to the good of the society?

A

the supreme, state and family justice courts enforce the law. an example is when parents get charged for refusing to send their child to primary school will be sent to court where the judge will listen to the case and decide if there should be any action taken place. this is important because Singaporeans will respect and follow the law or else they may be punished but they are allowed to give their side of the story to ensure fairness. in the long run, this ensures safe and stable society. therefore, judiciary leads to the good of the society.
