Advantages to functional foods?
Improve health eg lower cholesterol and are convenient way to bring about health benefits quicker
Disadvantages of functional foods?
Expensive, not good for people who are on a budget
You have to eat a reasonable amount to actually have the health benefits
Consumers can over rely on said products and not take any further actions to improve their health
