What happens in free radical polymerisation
A
Organic peroxides like H2O2 are used as catalyst in this reaction
The organic peroxides are replaced by organic chains
HO-OH > RO-OR
The O-O bond undergoes homolytic fission generating 2 RO free radicals which will attack alkenes

What happens in the propagation stage
A
The RO free radical will attack an alkene
1 electron will go to the Ro and the other the second ch2 forming ROCH2CH2.
