A
- Fractures that occur from usually acceptable forces
- Almost all vertebral are anterior column

A
- Most common sites are vertebra, hip and wrist
- Presentation commonly to emergency department
- Compression fractures can cause loss of height, difficulty breathing, loss of mobility, gastrointestinal symptoms, difficulty sleeping

A
-MRI is needed for those presenting with back pain with RFs for osteoporosis
