What is the method for the emulsion/paper spot test? (fat)

A

-cut food into very small pieces, place in a boiling tube and add 3cm cubed of ethanol. Shake and leave to settle. Half fill a second test tube with water. Carefully add drops of the solution from the 1st tube to the water.

You can also test for fat by rubbing a solid food on a piece of greaseproof paper
