Liver and cabbage, makes red blood cells
Balanced diet
Rights amounts of nutrients to stay healthy. Must have the 5 major nutrients and water.

Shows how much to eat of each food.
To test for starch
Use iodine on bread turns from brown to blue/black
To test for glucose (reducing sugar)
Add Benedict’s solution to lucozade , heat it. It turns from blue to brick red.
To test for protein (biuret test)
Add copper sulphate and sodium hydroxide (biuret reagent) to meat. Turns from blue to violet.
To test for fat
Put brown paper onto oil. A translucent dot appears.
Convert chemical energy to food to heat energy
Burn a crisp and it heats a test tube to water.
