When do we do the full Acceptance Check?

-Engine Failure Procedures: Initial track and where we are landing
-Specials: AI, Ignition, Terrain, WX, Abnormal bleeds, De-Icing, any other unique items

25 Min to departure and fueling complete

-Crew O2 Masks flow and mic
-PED off & EFB Airplane mode, 90% charge & background programs shutdown
-Pressurization - Set to landing elevation
-Signs: NO PED, NO SMKG, SEAT BELTS signs on
Upon receiving Weight and Balance data and Passenger count
W - Check and verify W&B data in ACARS
Z - Enter ZFW from W&B into Perf INIT page, Update Fuel on board from ED1 into PERF INIT, Note GWT, Select proper Speed Card page
T - Set FLEX Temp into PERF MENU page
T - Set Trim in ED2
S - Set Speeds in PFD
Before Start Below the line trigger
When issued pushback clearance captain calls for “Below the line”
Engine Start trigger
Captain says “Start L (or R) Engine”
Engine Start Sequence
-Press L or R ENG START switchlight until “L/R ENGINE START” message is displayed on ED2
-N2 Rise
-Oil Pressure rise
-ITT<120
-At N2 > 20% Thrust Lever to idle
-Verify:
L/R AUTO IGNITION on ED2
Fuel Flow
Light off/ITT rise
N1 Increase
-Monitor N2 for Hung Start
-Monitor FF for Hot Start
-At N2 50% verify: L/R ENG START and L/R ATUO IGNITION extinguish
In the event of a bad start
TIMS
T - Thrust lever to shutoff
I - Confirm ignition is off
M - Motor engine till ITT<120 or 90 seconds
S - Starter Stop Button press
Captain calls for QRC
After Start Flow Trigger
Engine Stable (2,4,6,5) and N2 gauge max increases
After Start Flow
2,4,6,5 APS
A - Anti-ice as required
P - Probes on
S - Sterile Cockpit sign on
After Start Checklist trigger
After ground equipment is clear and acknowledgment of ground crew signal
