PUSH/START FLOW
V-Speeds……………SET
* FO states “Flaps _______ V-Speeds are _______” and reads the flap setting and speeds from ACARS while the CA verifies with the TOLD card.

* Check L and/or R BOOST PUMP INOP light(s) go out and L and/or R BOOST PUMP ON light(s) come on
* Check L and/or R FUEL PUMP ON advisory messages come on
* Check EICAS, FUEL LO PRESS caution messages are not on
* Check that XFLOW INHIBIT on ED2 is not present. If present, the refuel/defuel power switch is still on and the refuel/defuel panel door may be open
Bleed/PACKS……………….SET
* Fuel Feed Check Valve Test (first flight of the day)……ACCOMPLISH

*Set landing elevation to destination field elevation

Triggering Event: Both engines running, clear of ramp/congestion

Check for following on EICAS FLT Control Page
* Aileron/Spoileron for full travel
* Elevator for full travel
BEFORE TAKEOFF FLOW
Triggering Event: Cleared onto the runway
Fuel XFLOW………………….MAN & OFF
Check the following:
* Select in AUTO OVERRIDE to MAN
* MAN light and MAN XFLOW status message comes on
* L and R XFLOW ON lights and status messages are out
Continuous Ignition………..As Required
Anti-Ice…………………………As Required
AFTER TAKEOFF FLOW
Triggering Event: Reaching acceleration altitude & flaps retracted
Thrust…………………SET
Thrust Reservers….OFF
* Check the following:
L and R REV ARMED advisory messages go out
Fuel XFLOW…………AUTO
* Caution, check the following:
Press out AUTO OVERRIDE Switch/Light and check that light goes out
MAN XFLOW status message out

Sterile Cockpit………………….ADVISED
The PM shall signal the termination of the sterile cockpit phase by cycling the fasten seat belt sign to generate two tones.
IN RANGE FLOW
Triggering Event: Approx. 20-25 minutes from landing
Flight Attendants………………..ADVISED
When leaving cruising altitude and beginning a gradual descent, the PM shall ensure that the “Fasten Seat Belt” sign is illuminated and indicate the cabin should be secured for landing by issuing a PA announcement “Flight Attendants, please secure the cabin for arrival”
Pressurization…………………….CHECKED
Check the following:
System is operating normally and on schedule. Set to field elevation
If destination field elevation is > 8,000 feet, select 8000FT or lower for the duration of the climb and cruise and set the destination field elevation at the top of the descent.
Landing Data………………………..SET
Landing data will be set by either ACARS or speed cards. If ACARS, the appropriate speed card will be selected and displayed for quick reference or maneuvering speeds and landing distance requirements
Set the radio and NAV equipment for the approach
Set Vt bug to VFTO. Set V2 bug to V2ga

The PM shall signal the re-entry (final descent phase) by cycling the fasten seat belt sign to generate two tones.
AFTER LANDING FLOW
Triggering Event: Clear of the runway
Anti-Ice.....................OFF Probes......................OFF Flaps.........................AS REQUIRED Radar.........................OFF Transponder...............AS REQUIRED
SHUTDOWN FLOW
Triggering Event: Complete stop at the gate
Fuel Check Valve (first flight of the day)……..Accomplish

GO-AROUND FLOW
Triggering Event: At Go-Around
Approach briefing
- Acquire ATIS and ATC clearance
- Landing speeds and go-around N1 should have been computed as per the determined landing weight and by airport analysis
- Set radio and NAV equipment for the approach
- Set the associated bugs accordingly (Vt, V2). Vapp and Vref should be recorded on the TOLD card and the appropriate page of the speed card should be left open
