-people with kidney problems cant flush out the un needed flouride

Flouride take up
A
As a tooth emerges from the gum it can rapidly take up fluoride for short period.
Once teeth have erupted the effectivness of systemically derived fluoride is questionable but surface effects become significant.

Non- toxic effects of fluoride
A
-Mottle enamel- white flecks, or brown stains on enamel
-Rough surfaces because of rapid crystallization if enamel.

How is fluoride beneficial for PH changes
A
When PH is below 5.5 fluoride, if present, will slow demineralization.
If PH is above 5.5 fluoride if present will remineralise tooth surface
