Flight Plan- Fuel Block etc Flashcards
STANDARD
Type of fuel planning- dominant fuel policy applied
STANDARD: no special fuel planning and normal alternate selection
NO ALTN: planning with no dest alternate
REDUCED xxxx: If 3% ERA planning is applied
5MINUTES: Fuel planning takes into account 5min cont fuel
CONT
Contingency fuel
CONT%5:
CONT%3:
CONT5MINUTES:
CONT6MINUTES: when either 5% or 5 min reaches 180kg,
system 180kg might be equiv to 6min fuel
TIME: time that CONT fuel would allow for based upon
flight`s mean fuel flow
FINAL RESERVE
TIME: holding time 1500 feet above ALTN airport
ADDITIONAL
fuel added by the system automatically to satisfy hard coded fuel policy
- critical fuel scenario/ETOPS
- min fleet T/O fuel
- min fleet ldg fuel
- no alternate
- unusable/ballast (prefixed by an asterisk)
Dispatcher has to clarify the breakdown of this fuel
TIME: based on flights mean fuel flow (not if unusable fuel)
APU/TAXI
Subtype specific fuel flow x flight`s taxi time
TIME: it will always show original planned taxi time even if fuel has been manually increased
REQUIRED FOB
Required block fuel, sum of all the fuel values including apu/taxi
TIME: sum of all the previous times except taxi
TANKER/EXTRA
TIME: 1500 feet above DEST airport
(not part of the minimum legal fuel)
REMF
= TOTAL FOB-TRIP-TAXI
CONT is assumed to be preserved
MIN DIV
= Final res + Altn
CONT is assumed to be used at this point
MIN DEP
MIN DEP = REQUIRED FOB – APU/TAXI fuel
This is for guidance only and not a hard fuel figure required for departure.
PRF FACTOR
cruise degradation/performance factor
fuel bias value from AC registration record
TRAPO
Top of climb tropopause height
