When MUST the IC request the attendance of an FIU?

A
  • If the IC cannot determine the cause of a primary fire
  • For any serious injury to MOP
  • If the IC is unable to determine the cause of secondary fire, this must be discussed with the FIT
  • To a possible re-kindling
  • If ICs are refused entry to an incident for the purposes of fire investigation.
