What is squint (stabismus)?
Misalignment of the visual axes
What causes squint?
Normally failure to develop binocular vision due to refractive errors. May be catarcts, retinoblastoma or space occupying lesion
What is amblyopia?
Loss of visual acuity in an eye that has not received a clear image. Affects 2-3% children. Treatment by covering “good” eye
