Establishing a Working Relationship with the Community
The working relationship is made formal through contract setting where the agreement is made on the:

*Duration and frequency of nurse-client community contact
*Expectation
Also, a CHN nurse should explore:
*Attitude of the community of interest
*The need to identify rules or protocols that need to be followed
