Clostridium tetani
Exotoxin Muscles Relax Causes Flacid paralysis in small muscles Prevents acetylcholine action. Problems swallowing, blinking may cause double vision.
Clostridium botulinum
Has antigenic variation of the pili Causes: Painful urination, exudate, PID in women, and Blindness, eye infections in the neonate, and 25% have no symptoms.
