Personal Prayer
When we take time out of our day to speak and listen to God
Communal Prayer:
Prayers can be prayed with others or on our own but have an element of community where we may ask the saints to intercede on our behalf. Praying the rosary is an example of communal prayer
Meditative Prayer
Prayer is when we reflect on or think about God. We often look to scripture or Christian authors to hear God’s words and invite ourselves to write in a reflective journal about our message.
Virtues of a life of prayer:
Love:
God made us and blessed us, he forgave us and restores us.
God gave us his son out of love
We experience more of God’s love when we grow in faith and hope
