- On what page is CONDITIONAL FORMATTING and how does it work?
p 239. CONDITIONAL FORMATTING WORKS BY letting you specify a series of conditions and the specific formatting changes that go along with them.
- What can you apply CONDITIONAL FORMATTING to?
Any TEXT OBJECT, BUTTON, FIELD CONTROL, or WEB VIEWER.
- How do you apply CONDITIONAL FORMATTING?
Choose the field to format

CONDITIONAL
- What options do you have for configuring the CONDITIONS under CONDITIONAL FORMATTING?
There are TWO options:
a. You place simple rules in the value of a field
b. For more complex needs, use a FORMULA.
- You can make the TEXT LABEL on a field stand out as well with CONDITIONAL FORMATTING. How?
a. Select the TEXT LABEL
b. Choose FORMAT–>
CONDITIONAL
c. You HAVE to use a FORMULA
d. Enter People::Goodness Rating<3
f. Choose the FORMATTING you want to apply.
- If you don’t see the FORMATTING CHOICE you want in the CONDITIONAL FORMATTING dialog box, just:
click on MORE FORMATTING.
- When would you want to remove CONDITIONAL FORMATTING and how would you do it?
You may want to remove CONDITIONAL FORMATTING if you DUPLICATE one field and change it to another.
Simply choose
FORMAT–>
CONDITIONAL and DELETE THE CONDITIONS FROM THE LIST.
