- VALUE LISTS. What is the USE VALUES FROM FIELD option (MANAGE VALUE LISTS–>NEW: EDIT VALUE LIST)?
The new VALUE LIST will be built with data you input on a field you choose.

Every UNIQUE value that is input into the field you picked.
- When you choose USE VALUES FROM FIELD, what dialog box comes up?
SPECIFY FIELDS FOR VALUE LIST, which brings up two main choices:

b. ALSO DISPLAY VALUES FROM SECOND FIELD.

you simply return to the EDIT VALUE LIST window and click SPECIFY FIELD to choose another field.
- Why is there an option to USE VALUE LIST FROM ANOTHER FILE?
because if you have another file with exactly the VALUE LIST you need, there is no need to enter it twice; just have your current file REFER to the VALUE LIST in the other file.
